About the role

The Machine Operator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and consistent production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Makes real-time adjustments to maintain smooth, efficient machine operation throughout the run.
  • Produces high-quality pieces with accurate image alignment and consistent, clean imprint results.
  • Identifies quality defects and performs necessary machine adjustments to correct issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoots equipment problems to determine root causes and restore proper machine function.
  • Performs machine breakdown, cleaning, and changeover procedures at the end of each job run.
  • Communicates all essential job details, production notes, and machine status to the next operator during shift transitions.
  • Accurately reports production quantities and tracks orders electronically using the company’s computer and scanning systems.
  • Uses all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and maintains a safe, organized work environment.
  • Immediately notifies Line or Floor Supervisors of any issues that may impact production flow or on-time customer delivery.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret job orders and production instructions.
  • Effective listening skills and the ability to follow verbal direction.
  • Clear communication skills to convey information and collaborate with team members.
  • Accurate counting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills to practical, day-to-day challenges.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for overtime as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, climb, bend, and lift materials or equipment consistently throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$15.00 USD Per Hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday, non-exempt, - 2nd shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm)
