Urgent Care RN

About the Role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) III provides professional nursing care, focusing on patient, family, and community health within an integrated nursing model. Collaborating with the healthcare team, they ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans using the nursing process.
• Document patient data, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Assist with procedures, monitor patient responses, and lead emergency responses.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Manage IV therapy, medication administration, and other nursing procedures.
• Provide health education, counseling, and follow-up outreach.
• Participate in quality improvement, departmental training, and mentorship activities.
• Perform procedures autonomously under provider supervision and evaluate patient responses.
• Utilize advanced skills for specialized care, education, and consultation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of RN clinical experience, with 2 years in a specialty area.
• Associate’s degree in nursing; High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid RN license and Basic Life Support certification required.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Specialty certification and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
