About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care, including critical assessments, skilled procedures, and meticulous implementation of patient care plans. Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team is essential to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This role requires keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver exceptional patient experiences through proactive engagement, empathetic communication, professional conduct, and adherence to Dignity Health standards.
• Execute duties with precision, including comprehensive patient assessment, accurate documentation, efficient scheduling, safe medication administration, vigilant patient monitoring, and proactive engagement in quality improvement and supply management.
• Enhance efficiency by collaborating effectively, seeking timely guidance, maintaining situational awareness, and swiftly resolving issues or responding to communications.
• Actively participate in team and department initiatives, streamline processes, maintain clean and professional environments, demonstrate flexibility in work hours, and support roles to enhance productivity.
• Maximize resource utilization through diligent equipment maintenance, lean supply management, efficient time use, policy adherence, and meticulous handling of billing data.
• Actively seek and incorporate feedback from patients and colleagues, identify and implement efficient methods, report necessary improvements, and offer innovative solutions to problems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Satisfactory completion of a formal Registered Nurse program or equivalent military training (determination by Dignity Health Medical Foundation HR and the State Division of Allied Health Professions).
• Current and valid Registered Nurse: CA license (RN:CA).
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9 coding procedures, and pharmacology appropriate to the Registered Nurse scope of practice.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• One (1) year of experience in an outpatient setting as a Registered Nurse.
• Familiarity with an electronic practice management system.

Pay

$62.85 - $71.11 per hour.
