Urgent Care Representative - Pool Float Team

About the Role

BayCare is seeking an Urgent Care Representative who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to the community. BayCare is Tampa Bay's leading multi‑specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.

Responsibilities

• Support the urgent care operation by obtaining accurate patient and client information.
• Complete accurate and timely registrations.
• Collect and post charges and payments.
• Work in multiple systems simultaneously.
• Answer patient and client questions.
• Distribute information to patients and clients, including medical records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of healthcare experience or 6 months of customer service experience.

Schedule

• 12‑hour shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Monday through Friday.
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (or until the last patient leaves).
• Two days on, then two days off rotation, including every other weekend (Weekend Differential may apply).

Compensation

This pool (non‑exempt) position includes an additional $2.00 per hour above the base rate when working, plus mileage reimbursement for travel to satellite locations across Hillsborough, Polk, Pinellas, and Pasco Counties. Own transportation is required.
