About the role
The Ideal Candidate PA/NP with 2 years of Urgent Care, Family Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine experience, with the ability to work as a solo provider. Ability to work a base schedule with an average of 3 shifts per week, every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care services in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Assess and manage patient conditions, order tests, and prescribe medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain patient records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing medical education and other learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
- At least 2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Experience working independently and managing multiple patient cases simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams (e.g., NCLEX-PN, PANCE).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Basic computer skills for electronic health record systems.

$54.90 - $82.35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
