Urgent Care- Part Time- NP/PA

About the role

The Ideal Candidate PA/NP with 2 years of Urgent Care, Family Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine experience, with the ability to work as a solo provider. Ability to work a base schedule with an average of 3 shifts per week, every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Assess and manage patient conditions, order tests, and prescribe medications as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain patient records.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing medical education and other learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
• At least 2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Experience working independently and managing multiple patient cases simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams (e.g., NCLEX-PN, PANCE).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Basic computer skills for electronic health record systems.

Pay

$54.90 - $82.35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
