Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to manage acute walk-in urgent cases and minor procedures. Procedures include, but are not limited to, suturing, fracture care/splinting, I&Ds, etc. We also offer on-site imaging and lab draws.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients presenting with acute conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
• Perform minor surgical procedures under supervision
• Provide primary care services in an urgent care setting
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Current Maryland RN license
• Active NP certification from an accredited body
• Experience in urgent care or similar settings
• Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or related field
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
