About the role
The ideal candidate is a PA or NP with 2 years of Urgent Care, Family Medicine, and/or Emergency Medicine experience, capable of working independently as a solo provider. They must be able to adhere to a base schedule with an average of 3 shifts per week, every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and effective medical care to patients in an urgent care setting.
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for patient safety and quality care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain patient records.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a PA or NP in the state of practice.
- At least 2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program in PA or NP.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams (e.g., PANCE, PANRE).
