Glendive Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Urgent Care team in Glendive, MT. This provider will deliver high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries while collaborating with the hospitalist physician to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients.
- Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, x-rays, and EKGs.
- Perform approved procedures within scope of practice and medical staff privileges.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Montana regulations and organizational policies.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Consult with supervising physicians as needed to support quality patient care.
- Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation.
- Maintain certifications required for urgent care and emergency care practice.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current Montana licensure (or eligible for licensure).
- National certification and state accreditation required.
- Ongoing continuing education and maintenance of licensure.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing, walking, and movement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and bodily fluids.
