Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview: This outpatient urgent care position involves providing high-quality care in a walk-in clinic setting. The clinician will handle non-emergent conditions such as minor cuts, sprains, strains, cold and flu symptoms, ear infections, allergies, and minor fractures. Responsibilities: Deliver urgent care services during 12-hour day shifts, with a patient volume of 30 to 50 per day.Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, following established clinical protocols.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility standards.Provide care without prescriptive authority or call responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills: Board certification and active state medical license are required.DEA registration or easily transferable license is necessary.Strong clinical skills in urgent care, with ability to manage a diverse patient population.
