Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens Coverage

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for urgent care coverage in an on-site facility. This role involves providing walk-in services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics from 3 months old, during day shifts with flexible hours ranging from 7 to 15 hours. The NP must hold board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds, possess an active state license and DEA registration, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting. Responsibilities include treating a patient volume of 2-4 patients per hour in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality care. The role requires prescriptive authority and experience with pediatric patients 3 months and older; Workers' Compensation and DOT certifications are advantageous. Additional duties involve managing diverse cases with minimal supervision, adhering to established clinical protocols, and ensuring patient safety.
