In this vital role you will be responsible for leading a team in production operations on the manufacturing floor including cell culture operations in our flexible manufacturing facility as well as leadership of the Agile Manufacturing Excellence team for this shift, which will operate flexibly across all areas of both AR30 and AR5. This role will leverage continuous improvement, transformative approaches and innovation to drive reliability, efficiency, agility and differentiation. The manager will champion a safe and compliant production environment through structured on floor presence. This position is for the night shift. The shift pattern will be 7PM-7AM structure with a rotation covering 7 days per week. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience ORAssociate’s degree and 10 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience ORBachelor’s degree and 5 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience ORMaster’s degree and 3 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience ORDoctorate degreeIn addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or EngineeringKnowledge and experience within a cGMP or other highly regulated environment including a basic understanding of technical elements across engineering, biological or chemical processingAbility to adapt to shifting priorities, remove barriers and provide support where neededLead with clarity, communicate transparently and build trusting relationshipsStrong leadership and teambuilding skills (coaching, mentoring, counseling)Experience with Lean Principles and continuous improvementExperience with performance management including conflict resolution and performance reviewsAnalytical problem-solving skillsThorough understanding of regulatory requirementsAbility to be flexible and manage changeExcellent verbal and written communication (technical) skills What You Can Expect Of Us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
