About the role
The Manufacturing Supervisor will provide manufacturing leadership at our Buffalo facility, a unionized site of ~400 employees comprising a Cereal Plant, Flour Mill, and Grain Elevator with over 100 years of history. This role is strategically positioned to support our business segments and meet dynamic customer needs.
This position initially covers 12-hour shifts (5pm-5am) and will transition to an 8-hour shift (10pm-6am) within the next 3-6 months. Flexibility to work all three shifts for training and gap coverage is required.
Responsibilities
- Educate, develop, and motivate a manufacturing work group to achieve required production results, improving individual technical skills and enabling collaboration across boundaries.
- Ensure production facilities and finished products meet company and government standards for quality, sanitation, and safety.
- Establish and sustain sound relationships with all employees to foster an environment where innovative methods are used to involve others in creative solutions to issues.
- Provide business leadership demonstrating commitment to department and plant objectives on a daily basis.
- Facilitate, coach, counsel, and guide the manufacturing work group to deliver results year over year using continuous improvement tools and strategies.
- Function as a technical resource in areas of system operations and product requirements.
- Facilitate effective interchange of information between work groups, cross-functional resources, and other members of the plant and corporate teams.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- 1+ years of relevant experience

International relocation or remote working arrangements outside the U.S. will not be considered. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $71,300 - $107,000 annually. Pay is determined by factors such as education, skills, work experience, and certifications. Successful candidates may fall anywhere within this range.
