Tax Internship

• Gain practical experience in tax planning, preparation, and client service while working with a variety of individual and business clients.
• Prepare individual, small business, and corporate tax returns.
• Aid in tax research and planning projects.
• Analyze financial information and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with experienced tax professionals on client engagements.
• Learn how public accounting professionals deliver exceptional client service.

SBA Internship

• Experience the day-to-day accounting and advisory services that help small businesses succeed.
• Assist with bookkeeping and accounting functions.
• Prepare and review client financial information.
• Learn small business tax preparation processes.
• Work directly with accounting professionals serving a diverse client base.
• Develop an understanding of advisory services and client relationships.

Assurance Internship

• Explore the audit and assurance profession through hands-on projects and meaningful client work.
• Your experience may include opportunities within:
  • The Efficiency Center, working on specialized projects that showcase the industries we serve.
  • Form 990 preparation and review support.
  • Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) engagements.
  • Technical Accounting Standards Update (ASU) projects.
  • Innovation initiatives focused on improving processes and client service.
  • Year-end audit engagements alongside experienced Assurance professionals.

Qualifications

• Motivated students who are eager to learn and contribute.
• Active enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s in accounting program.
• Coursework that supports progress toward the requirements for CPA eligibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Passion for client service and continuous learning.

Pay

The rate of pay for this role is $22/hour.

Hours of Operation

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Our summer hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
