Qualifications

A high level of Spanish proficiency is required.

A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience are required; a master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience are preferred.

An authorization to work in the United States or the ability to meet the requirements for a sponsored J-1 teacher exchange visa is needed.

Proficiency in English is required to teach, communicate with parents and colleagues, understand the curriculum, and write report cards.

Experience with the best practices in Spanish language acquisition for upper school is desired.

Pay

The salary range for this full-time teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year is $83,403 (BA Step 3) to $126,672 (PhD Step 23).
