About the role
The Spanish Teacher Upper School position at Trinity Valley School is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Spanish language and culture to students in grades 9-12.
Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish language and culture courses to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom
- Mentor and support students' academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
- Valid teaching certificate in Spanish or bilingual education
- At least two years of successful teaching experience
- Strong proficiency in Spanish and English
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse student body
Qualifications
- Experience with differentiated instruction
- Knowledge of current educational research and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and working with young adults

Pay
- Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
