About the role

Join Amgen, a global biotechnology leader, as part of the UPLIZNA team—a growth brand redefining care for patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), a rare autoimmune disease. The Senior Associate, HCP Marketing will support strategic healthcare professional (HCP) marketing initiatives to educate customers, strengthen brand differentiation, and enable best-in-class field execution. This role collaborates closely with HCP marketing leadership, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring commercial strategy to life.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, review, and deployment of branded, disease-state, and unbranded promotional materials by partnering with HCP marketing leadership, agency partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Own assigned tactical workstreams from planning through execution, managing timelines, deliverables, and project plans to ensure timely delivery of key business priorities.
  • Facilitate promotional materials through the Material Approval and Compliance (MAC) process by collaborating with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and agency partners to ensure timely, compliant approvals.
  • Build strong partnerships across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal, Global Marketing, Market Research, Digital, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to execute HCP marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales Training and Commercial teams to coordinate promotional resource deployments, field communications, National Sales Meetings, and other initiatives enabling best-in-class field execution.
  • Support the execution of congress-related promotional materials, local congress kits, booth driver assets, and other customer engagement programs for seamless and impactful experiences.
  • Own assigned marketing operations workstreams, including print and fulfillment coordination, and maintenance of promotional inventories and resource tracking.
  • Drive operational excellence by maintaining marketing systems, identifying process improvements, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture aligned with Amgen Values.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree or
  • Master’s degree and 1 year of directly related experience or
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of directly related experience or
  • Associate’s degree and 6 years of directly related experience or
  • High school diploma/GED and 8 years of directly related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of biopharmaceutical or healthcare commercial experience in marketing, sales, commercial operations, project management, or a related business function.
  • Experience supporting the development and execution of promotional marketing materials.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with agency partners, promotional review processes, Veeva, and the Material Approval and Compliance (MAC) process.
  • Neurology, rare disease, or specialty pharmaceutical experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, learning agility, and a passion for delivering high-quality commercial execution.
  • Experience supporting field-facing tools, congress resources, or promotional operations workstreams.

Pay

Salary range: $76,673.40 – $103,734.60 USD.
