We are seeking a UPK LEAD TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy. The start date is set for August 2026.
Requirements
- Possess active Iowa teaching license
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in ECE
- Be organized
- Be detail-oriented
- Be self-motivated
- Be reliable
- Be able to lead in a fast-paced, highly professional environment
- Be able to effectively and professionally communicate with staff, children, and families
Qualifications
- Must meet or exceed state qualifications for the listed position
- Must have a passion for working with young children
- Must satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations
- Must have documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must have the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations
