Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to: Repairs and maintains all upholstered materials, furniture and finishes Secondary Duties And Responsibilities Responsible for all departmental logs, record keeping and labor recording pertinent to their day-to-day job duties Assists other trades on tasks, as needed Maintains a clean and safe work environment Minimum Education And Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Four years of upholstery, repair and replacement experience In lieu of previous work experience, two years of education in this field may be substituted Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of the property layout including pits, sections and zones Training Requirements Mandated safety classes Proper use of tools and equipment required to complete job duties Physical Demands And Work Environment Must be able to work in a smoking environment as well as various weather conditions including extreme hot and cold Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
