$27-$32/hour based on experience

Responsibilities
- Build completed work trucks according to work instructions and prints
- Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment
- Assemble truck body parts and equipment by bolting, cutting, welding, drilling, and other techniques for mounting and building equipment
- Work from blueprints and written specifications to meet customer specifications
- Understand electrical schematics and 12V circuits
- Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process
- Responsible for testing installed parts prior to final inspection
- Responsible for verifying that all line items have been completed on the work order
- Perform safety and quality checks
- Keep the shop area neat and clean
- Maintain and be accountable for all tools and manuals; return them to the proper place and in the same condition as received
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Report any safety issues immediately to management
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screening
