Pay

$27-$32/hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Build completed work trucks according to work instructions and prints
• Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment
• Assemble truck body parts and equipment by bolting, cutting, welding, drilling, and other techniques for mounting and building equipment
• Work from blueprints and written specifications to meet customer specifications
• Understand electrical schematics and 12V circuits
• Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process
• Responsible for testing installed parts prior to final inspection
• Responsible for verifying that all line items have been completed on the work order
• Perform safety and quality checks
• Keep the shop area neat and clean
• Maintain and be accountable for all tools and manuals; return them to the proper place and in the same condition as received
• Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening
