Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Install truck equipment such as toolboxes, stakesides, 12V lighting, sign stands, and arrow boards etc.
- Perform basic wiring for 12V lights and electrical components (training provided)
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete installations
- Read and follow work orders, diagrams, and instructions
- Ensure all installations meet J-Tech quality and safety standards provided
- Move vehicles and materials within the shop safely
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work
- Willingness to learn new skills (no prior upfitting experience required)
- Basic familiarity with tools is a plus
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Pay
Competitive; based on experience and skill level. General range: $20 - $24/hour
