About the role
ProRecruiters is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process loan documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Gather, evaluate, and organize financial, legal, and collateral-related documentation
- Cook up with internal teams and external partners to support loan processing, closing, and funding activities
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support loan processing, closing, and funding activities
- Review loan files for completeness and resolve documentation issues
- Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately
- Interpret lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Utilize loan documentation systems and Microsoft Office applications effectively
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Maintain a customer-focused approach and commitment to service excellence
Requirements
- Previous experience in loan documentation, loan operations, lending support, or a related financial services role required (minimum of 1 year in loan documentation or 3 years of loan operations experience)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience working with commercial, consumer, or real estate lending transactions preferred
- Knowledge of lending documentation, loan processing, and regulatory compliance requirements preferred
