About the role

Greene Resources is seeking an IT Systems Administrator/Support to join a growing and dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide wired and wireless network management and monitoring.
  • Maintain and update network infrastructure components including network devices, servers, UPS, server rooms, and cabling per site.
  • Provide internet service and control/monitoring of web activities.
  • Maintain MS Active Directory domain infrastructure, DHCP service, DNS service, file server, SFTP (ftp) server, DHCP and Static IP support for SXM, Skinny Joe, and Delta Testers.
  • Respond to urgent network alerts during business hours and off-hours, with a pre-assigned on-call schedule, to prevent and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and configure Windows Update and antivirus system.
  • Provide daily user management, helpdesk support, and Data Backup/Restore Support.
  • Support Phone System and IP Phone (Cisco IP phone Call Manager).
  • Report and escalate issues to the IT manager in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IT meetings/discussions to update project/ticket/assignment status.
  • Prepare to learn and take on new and emerging IT-related job functions under management’s guidance, including but not limited to: Workstation Active Directory Deployment, distributing new laptops and PCs, Firewall and Camera Systems, Production Workstations Security Patching, Linux Tester Support.

Requirements

  • 4 years of network administration experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Microsoft OS: Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2012 and beyond, MS Office suites, Microsoft 365 client.
  • Understanding/experience of network infrastructure.
  • Experience with network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with IP telephony systems, preferably Cisco Call Manager.
  • Knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Strong understanding/experience of cybersecurity and related tools, firewall concepts, Cisco, Fortinet FortiGate, FortiClient, Symantec.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools.
  • Experience with HP ProLiant servers, HP desktop, laptop, network printer/scanner/copier.
  • Proven ability to function independently and multitask.
  • Proficiency in managing and configuring Windows Server environments.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
