UP Filler Operator

About the role

The UP Milk Cooler Operator position at Darigold's Boise facility seeks motivated individuals who can operate modern fillers, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to a high-performance team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Two Lane Modern Filler and associated production tasks (Y tank CIPs, Setup)
• Ensure machine runs at posted speeds for size and efficiency
• Check product for correct code date and label identification
• Document all production data clearly and accurately
• Inform supervisors and maintenance of any mechanical issues
• Maintain product quality and minimize material losses
• Inspect equipment before and during production, CIP, and report deficiencies
• Complete QA checks and documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work with required sanitation chemicals
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
• Support coworkers running other machines as needed
• Follow all procedures in the cleanup process including GMP’s
• Conduct PMs and other environmental tasks as assigned
• Support coworkers running other machines as needed
• Other duties as assigned by leads/supervisors/managers

Requirements

• Frequent lifting of 55 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to maintain professionalism and manage multiple tasks
• High level of organizational skills
• Excellent attendance and work performance
• Understanding and adherence to all GMP’s
• Ability to work days off and overtime as necessary
• Excellent mechanical aptitude

Qualifications

• Food background, especially dairy experience
• Experience in various manufacturing areas within consumer products
