The best version of us starts with You! We CGI is for a motivated and detail-oriented Unix/Linux Operations Specialist to join our team supporting a leading global Bank client. This role is to support patch deployment, implementation, scheduling, coordination, and governance activities across infrastructure platforms. You will also contribute to patch operations, automation, tooling integration, and compliance activities to help maintain secure, reliable, and well-managed technology environments. The ideal candidate brings strong Unix/Linux operational experience, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively across technical and client teams. This is a Full-Time, On-Site employment opportunity located in Jacksonville, FL in a Hybrid Model.
Responsibilities
- Support patch deployment, implementation, scheduling, coordination and governance activities across infrastructure platforms.
- Deliver patch operations, automation, tooling integration and compliance activities to ensure secure and reliable services.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Unix/Linux.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Skills
- Unix/Linux operating system administration, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Patch management (deployment, implementation, scheduling, coordination, validation, issue resolution)
- Security vulnerability remediation
- Scripting and automation (Shell/Bash, Perl, Python, or similar technologies)

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $198,400.00.
