About the role

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, is seeking candidates for several Assistant Professor positions on the non‑tenure academic clinician track, focusing on Headache Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, and headache fellows in the outpatient clinic.
• Instruct clinical residents and fellows in allied specialties such as ENT, pain management, internal medicine, and family medicine.
• Deliver didactic sessions in the resident curriculum and the preclinical Brain and Behavior course.
• Maintain a personal clinic at Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, including clinical and procedural visits.
• Provide attending coverage for resident clinics at HUP.
• Participate in clinical trial recruitment, CME activities, and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree.
• Board eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of a Neurology residency in the United States.
• Completion of a headache fellowship in the United States.
• Demonstrated expertise in Headache Neurology.
