About the role

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (NIOM). Applicants must have at least one year in an accredited Neurophysiology fellowship. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board eligible in Neurology and Neurophysiology.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities may include teaching residents, fellows, technicians NIOM and comprehensive General Neurology.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring and General inpatient and outpatient Neurology.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (NIOM).
  • At least one year in an accredited Neurophysiology fellowship.
  • M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board eligibility in Neurology and Neurophysiology.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in relevant field.
  • Experience in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (NIOM).
  • Ability to teach residents, fellows, technicians NIOM and comprehensive General Neurology.
  • Ability to perform Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring and General inpatient and outpatient Neurology.
