About the Role

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Requirements

• Expertise in clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of adult cognitive conditions with emphasis on Alzheimer's Disease
• M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree
• Board eligible in Neurology; Board certified in Neurology is a preference
• Fellowship trained in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology

Teaching Responsibilities

• Staffing patients in neurology resident clinic every other week
• Working with Cognitive Neurology Fellows
• Lectures for medical students, neurology residents, and cognitive neurology fellows
• Mentoring residents and fellows

Clinical Responsibilities

• Seeing patients in the Penn Memory Center, Frontotemporal Disorders Center, and general cognitive neurology with a focus on Alzheimer's Disease
• Participating in clinical research trials and studies in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias
