Duties
- Staff the Welcome Desk and the Research Desk
- Greet visitors
- Answer telephones
- Explain reading room rules
- Page books for patrons
- Auxiliary tasks such as assisting with digitization projects, filling interlibrary loan requests, stacks, and maintenance
- Occasional evening or Saturday events as needed
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma
- Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral English
- Basic computer skills and customer service skills
Qualifications
- No previous library work experience required
- Comfortable with a variety of software, database applications, and new information technologies

Schedule
Work schedule will be adjusted to fit class schedule with supervision from the supervisor.
Pay
Targeted salary of $10/hr, based on experience.
