About the role

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Assistant or Associate Professor in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic, clinical, and research missions of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in veterinary diagnostic imaging, including radiology, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
• Supervise and mentor veterinary students, interns, and residents in clinical diagnostic imaging.
• Develop and maintain an active research program in veterinary diagnostic imaging, securing external funding and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
• Provide high-quality clinical service in the veterinary teaching hospital, including diagnostic imaging interpretation and consultation.
• Participate in faculty committees, administrative duties, and community outreach activities.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Completion of a residency program in veterinary diagnostic imaging (radiology) recognized by the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI).
• Board certification or eligibility for certification by ACVR or ECVDI.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching, clinical service, and research in veterinary diagnostic imaging.
• Strong communication skills in English and French (written and spoken); proficiency in both languages is preferred but not mandatory at the time of application.

Qualifications

• Experience with advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine.
• Track record of peer-reviewed publications in veterinary or comparative diagnostic imaging.
• Experience in securing research funding and leading collaborative projects.
• Commitment to excellence in clinical service, teaching, and research.
