Roles & Responsibilities
- Set up and configure manufacturing machines to meet specific production requirements.
- Train operators on proper machine usage, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance routines.
- Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and maintain machine training materials and documentation.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), training records, and machine settings for future reference.
- Provide refresher training and evaluate operator performance to ensure ongoing compliance and proficiency.
- Reinforce adherence to all safety guidelines and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support efforts to reduce machine downtime and improve operational efficiency through effective training
- Report equipment malfunctions or training gaps to appropriate personnel.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
- Proficient in machine setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and best practices.
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience delivering hands-on training.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation and tracking training completion.
- Previous experience in a machine trainer or lead operator role.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with specific equipment used in the facility (e.g., CNC machinery, robotic systems, presses).
