Universal Banker

Role Overview: This position involves providing exceptional customer service through sales and support activities, handling financial transactions, opening deposit accounts, and cross-selling banking products. It includes assisting clients with loan applications, conducting outbound calls, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations. The role requires identifying client needs, recommending suitable products, and maintaining operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform teller functions such as deposits, currency handling, and check cashing to minimize client wait times. Support platform functions: opening checking, savings, IRAs, certificates of deposit, and money market accounts. Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects for deposit/loan campaigns. Assist clients with loan applications and coordinate with relevant staff. Cross-sell products and refer clients to bank partners. Deliver excellent client experiences and promptly resolve inquiries. Stay informed on operational updates and ensure compliance with policies. Support bank center operations and train new associates as needed. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; 1+ year experience as a Teller preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment. Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily; equivalent education and experience accepted. Strong communication, problem-solving, and client service skills. Ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Certifications & Additional Requirements: Must meet background credit checks, comply with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act, and meet regulatory standards.
