Job Duties
- Aid in the collection of complex pediatric research data, including behavioral and health measurements.
- Coordinate research projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and data collection.
- Maintain study organization, including data entry and storage, adhering to both animal (IACUC) and human (IRB) protocols.
- Procure, prepare, and use laboratory equipment and supplies for experimental research.
- Design and assist in the design of experimental research protocols to support investigators' studies.
Minimum Requirements
- A high school diploma and two years of work experience in a clinical or research setting.
- A bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field may substitute for the required work experience.
Physical Requirements
- Continuous: Perform job functions in an upright position, seated position, and walking.
- Frequent: Bend at the waist, twist at the waist, reach in all directions, stretch, and lift up to 20 lbs. unassisted.
- Infrequent: Climb using a step stool, work in temperature extremes, lift and carry 4 liter waste material bottles, 25-30 lbs. jugs of liquid, 20 lbs. boxes, 40 lbs. centrifuge rotors, and 25 lbs. boxes.
Additional New Requirements
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
- Learn and use new processes, tools, and equipment as required.
