Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) faculty position dedicated to a five-year, PCORI-funded research initiative.

About the role

Serves as Project Coordinator for a large-scale, multi-site research initiative focused on the implementation and evaluation of trauma-focused interventions for youth and families impacted by trauma. Provides leadership and oversight for project operations across more than 60 community-based sites, ensuring effective coordination of research activities, stakeholder engagement, implementation strategies, and project deliverables.

Collaborates with principal investigators, community leaders, and partner organizations to support study execution, dissemination, and implementation efforts. Applies expertise in child trauma, implementation science, learning collaboratives, program evaluation, and evidence-based interventions to advance project goals.

Oversees communication, coordination, and relationship management among diverse stakeholders while ensuring adherence to project timelines, funding requirements, and research protocols.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Terminal degree (PhD) required.
• Expertise in child trauma, implementation science, learning collaboratives, program evaluation, and evidence-based interventions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required.

Schedule

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).
