About the role
The Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks candidates to join its Community Radiology Division as a Clinical Assistant Professor for general imaging services. This position will require on-site, full-time coverage, supporting the Regional Health Network.
Responsibilities
- Perform general imaging services including but not limited to X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound.
- Provide support for the Regional Health Network, ensuring timely and accurate diagnostic imaging services.
- Participate in teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows in the department.
- Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs related to general radiology and breast imaging.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree.
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) Board certification and fellowship training in general radiology and breast imaging.
- Experience in all aspects of general radiology and breast imaging, including ultrasound and MR.
- Ability to perform job functions in various physical positions as described above.
- Ability to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license.
Qualifications
- Must be board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
- Experience in general radiology and breast imaging.
