About the role

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks candidates to join its Community Radiology Division as a Clinical Assistant Professor for general imaging services. This position requires on-site, full-time coverage, supporting the Regional Health Network.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise in all aspects of general radiology and breast imaging (including ultrasound and MR).
• Support light interventional radiology services.
• Obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent degree.
• ABR Board-certification and fellowship training in radiology.
• Experience in general radiology and breast imaging.
• Ability to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform job functions in an upright, seated, and mobile position.
• Must possess good finger dexterity and maintain tactile sensory functions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs., unassisted.
• Must have 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.
• Must have good peripheral vision capabilities.
• Must be able to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements.
