About the role

M.D./Ph.D. to lead Systemic Sclerosis Disease Center within the Rheumatology division. Lead outreach efforts to improve outcomes in at risk patients with interstitial lung disease. Coordinate interdisciplinary conferences and case boards related to interstitial lung disease. Mentor junior physicians and physician scientist faculty and fellows. Incumbent will provide a minimal amount of inpatient and outpatient services with a focus on systemic sclerosis and interstitial lung disease within adult Rheumatology as well as participate in bedside and didactic teaching activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead outreach efforts to improve outcomes in at risk patients with interstitial lung disease.
• Cook interdisciplinary conferences and case boards related to interstitial lung disease.
• Mentor junior physicians and physician scientist faculty and fellows.
• Provide a minimal amount of inpatient and outpatient services with a focus on systemic sclerosis and interstitial lung disease within adult Rheumatology.
• Participate in bedside and didactic teaching activities.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD.
