About the role
A clinician educator or modified clinician track position is available for an MD or MD/PhD, board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases.
Responsibilities
- Participate in direct clinical and educational activities including rounding on our inpatient teaching service, our inpatient attending/APP service, weekly meetings, grand rounds, and student, resident and fellow education.
- Interact with residents, fellows and students.
- Opportunities for telemedicine and clinical research.
Requirements
MD or MD/PhD, board certified (or board eligible) in Infectious Diseases.
Qualifications
Ability to perform job functions in an upright position, seated position, walking, indoors, working in all weather and temperature extremes, confined/cramped spaces, kneeling, squatting, pinching, using both hands/arms, performing repetitive motions, reaching in all directions, maintaining tactile sensory functions, lifting and carrying up to 15 lbs., pushing/pulling objects up to 15 lbs., seeing and recognizing objects close at hand and at a distance, determining distance/relationship between objects, having good peripheral vision, maintaining hearing acuity, performing gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements.
