About the role
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced certified nursing assistant for our Med Surg unit.
The position embraces the mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Responsibilities
- Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
- Maintain data and related records
- Perform clerical and other support services as directed
- Process physician orders
- Communicate with patients and staff
- Perform other general duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma / GED
- At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficient in PC, Internet, and email
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred
