As part of the Perioperative Services team (RN and PCT), you will work in a fast-paced environment that tests professional judgment and critical thinking skills while encouraging growth. You'll collaborate with world-renowned surgeons and anesthesiologists, assist on unique and complex procedures, work with the latest technologies, and play a vital role in developing new procedures and treatment protocols. Patients from across the nation and world come to Barnes-Jewish for our surgical specialties.

Location & Schedule

Location: Barnes-Jewish Hospital

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Supports clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support.
• Transcribes physician orders with close attention to detail.
• Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures.
• Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior experience required
• No supervisory experience required
