The Psychiatric Center – Delmar Campus is a behavior health inpatient program that is driven to provide a high level of quality care. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of the St. Louis Community and surrounding areas.
Role Purpose
The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team.
Responsibilities
- Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support.
- Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail.
- Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures.
- Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
