Dennett Rehab Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility in Oakland, Maryland, dedicated to providing exceptional care with compassion, respect, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and CNAs, to ensure provision of high-quality patient care
• Aid with new admissions, re-admissions, and transfers of patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Conduct infection control assessments
• Provide education to nursing staff
• Monitor and report patient progress, identifying changes in condition or behavior
• Participate in clinical start-up and department head stand-up meetings
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure seamless transitions and positive outcomes

Requirements

• Licensed RN in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Maryland or Multistate License
• Minimum one year of experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing
• Valid CPR Certification
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
