Unit Manager RN or LPN
Job Summary
Aviata at Greenacres is seeking a compassionate and experienced Unit Manager RN or LPN to join their team. The successful candidate will manage staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff, ensuring quality resident care on the assigned unit.
Responsibilities
- Manage staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff, providing direct resident care to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unit
- Assist in staff development and provide guidance to Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants
- Conduct and document complete data collection of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout treatment
- Absorb and implement individualized treatment plans for assigned residents
- Absorb and recruit, hire, and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements, as directed
- Coordinate with families and other staff to resolve grievances
- Complete Preceptor Training and provide innovative, responsible healthcare
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN or LPN
- Minimum (3) years nursing experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility; minimum one (1) year experience in nursing administration
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
