Unit Manager RN
About the role
The Unit Manager at Harrison Terrace assumes responsibility and accountability for the nursing care of all residents on the assigned unit. They supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care. The Unit Manager manages the unit in accordance with the company's philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
- Manage unit in accordance with company philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations.
- Supports the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans for residents.
- Manages staff effectively, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and maintains compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Indiana RN or LPN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.
Qualifications
- Passion for teaching, leading and mentoring staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong clinical knowledge.
- Strong leadership skills and management experience or willingness to learn.
