About the role
The Unit Manager at Hillcrest Village is responsible for overseeing the nursing care of residents on their assigned unit. This position requires a strong background in nursing, leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in delivering care.
- Ensure the unit operates in compliance with company policies, professional nursing standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage the unit to maintain high-quality care and positive resident experiences.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans for residents.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Indiana RN or LPN license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Passion for teaching, leading, and mentoring staff.
- Detail-oriented approach to meeting the needs of residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues.
