Unit Manager LPN
Avalon Care Center Federal Way is seeking a dependable, organized and dedicated LPN to join our outstanding team as a Unit Manager on our Rehab Unit. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through teaching.
About the Facility
Our facility is a premier provider of post‑acute care and rehabilitation services. The community specializes in short‑term rehabilitation services for those seeking transitional care from an acute medical facility to home. In addition to rehabilitation services, Avalon Care Center provides personalized 24‑hour skilled nursing care through licensed nurses and therapists.
Responsibilities
The Unit Manager will direct the day‑to‑day functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long‑term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
- Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures, and the laws, regulations and guidelines governing long‑term care.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long‑term care facility, or other health‑care related facility is required.

Pay
$42.00 – $47.00 per hour. Placement within the wage range is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.
Schedule
Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour days with weekend rotation.
