Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
- Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
- Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
- Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
- Aid in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
- Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an LPN or RN in the state of MA.
- Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
Pay
Range: $95,000.00 - $104,000.00 annually
Schedule
Full-time, days (Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm)
