Manufacturing Operations

Sets production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources and volume required to meet demand and ensure maximum production quantity and quality.

Supports, trains and builds the manufacturing line organization to maintain and enhance operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and enhances operations through training and building the manufacturing line organization.
• Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature.
• Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
• Follows established procedures for operating manufacturing equipment for tasks such as cutting, punching, forming, drilling, tapping, turning, milling and stamping to fabricate, form or shape manufactured parts, tools or parts assemblies from raw materials.
• Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline (Business or Finance considered with strong manufacturing experience).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience, including operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, or continuous improvement.
• Minimum 2 Years Of Direct People Leadership Experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading Operational Excellence / Lean daily management and applying Lean / Six Sigma tools with measurable, sustained results (e.g., SQDC, OEE, yield/scrap, deviation reduction, lead time, and on time delivery).
• Proven ability to partner with the Plant Leader and cross functional shared resources (EHS, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and CI/OpEx) to prioritize, resource, and execute improvements that strengthen customer outcomes and business performance.
• Strong working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Candidate preferred to have knowledge and experience with materials used in blown film.
