Unit Manager - Adult Crisis Stabilization

What to expect:

  • Provide 24-hour operational management of the unit
  • Manage expense budgets of assigned clinical programs and maintain a clinical environment and staffing strategy to enable the program to maintain or exceed budgeted census
  • Respond to changes in patient acuity and census and make appropriate adjustments to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment of care; address changing program needs that meet internal and external requirements
  • Utilize clinical expertise in delivering direct patient care, providing consultative activities, staff development, and treatment planning
  • Participate in appropriate marketing activities, promoting effective team-building, quality improvement, and a strong orientation toward customer relations
  • Supervise nursing, rehabilitation services, and support staff

The pay range for this position is $93,953.60 minimum to $154,814.14 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program and at least 2 years of progressively more responsible inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
  • If lacking a bachelor's degree, must have completed a diploma nursing program and have at least 4 years of progressively more responsible inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
  • Must possess current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment
