Unit Helper
About the role
The Position We're looking for passionate Unit Helpers interested in pursuing a path towards a Nurse Aide Certification to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bed making, answering call lights, refilling water, and beverage containers, transporting residents within the facility.
- Following completion of Certified Nurse Aide Training Program, promoting to Nurse Aide (up to 120 days).
- Providing nursing care and services for residents, including personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.
- Responding to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately.
- Responding to family requests immediately.
- Informing Charge Nurse when required.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
