What You'll Do
As a Unit Helper, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. You may also have the option to attend an LNA class and clinicals to help prepare you to take the Licensed Nursing Assistant exam.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
- Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
- Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- An interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
- A passion for healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care setting
- A compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
